About
Hi, I’m Fedor
I’m a software developer with over 20 years of experience building systems that work. My journey started with C++, expanded through Ruby and PHP, and now I focus primarily on Python, Rust, and Go for backend development.
What I Do
I specialize on software engineering for complex systems, including backend systems, network security, and infrastructure.
Currently, I focus on Internet technologies such as RPKI (Resource Public Key Infrastructure), BGP security - technologies that keep the internet secure and reliable.
DevOps Philosophy
Since 2013, I’ve been building reliable automation systems. I started with Puppet, spent a decade using Ansible, and at some point learned Terraform.
My philosophy: infrastructure should be code, changes should be reproducible, and automation should be reliable: predictable, fail gracefully, and document itself. The best infrastructure is also testable.
Continuous Learning
I believe in continuous learning and improvement. I regularly explore new technologies, programming languages, and methodologies to stay at the forefront of the industry.
Yey, this is a journey without end, and I love it.
Technical Background
Languages & Tools: Python, Rust, Go, C++
DevOps Stack: Puppet, Ansible, Terraform
Focus Areas: Backend systems, network security, routing protocols, infrastructure automation
Notable Projects
Check out my GitHub for open source contributions and personal projects.
Beyond Code
When I’m not coding, I create experimental electronic music as Intellektual Kollapse.
Music and code share the same appeal: building complex systems from simple patterns.
